¹ THE TRAGEDY OF SAMUEL OMUNYE
The tragedy of Samuel Omunye is a two-hander play that asks the existential question of whether or not humans have free will. The debate around the theory of freewill and hard determinism is old and popular in different studies like philosophy, science and theology, but very rarely is the theory applied to real life events - which is exactly what this play does.

This debate is set in the post-colonial fictional country of Niamba, and has a civil war as its background. The play follows two friends, a professor and a general, debating whether or not their lives are a result of choices or chance, all the while 60, 000 + lives are hanging on by the outcomes of this heated battle of ideas.

² EXODUS

When a troubled priest, haunted by his own dark past of addiction, is summoned to perform an exorcism, he's forced to confront the same malevolent spirit that once consumed his father. The spirit now resides in a young man, estranged from his family, who's become a vessel for the darkness. As the priest delves deeper, a fierce battle ensues - a tug-of-war of song, movement, and wills- to reclaim the boy's consciousness from the spirit's grasp.

Initially, the priest tries to connect with the boy through vulnerability, sharing his own struggles to show that redemption is possible. But when this approach fails, he realizes the true key to success lies in persuading the spirit itself to relinquish control. In a heart-wrenching climax, the priest must confront the depths of darkness and convince the spirit to let go, to free the boy and find his own path to redemption.
